What does an OnlyFans manager do?
An OnlyFans manager runs one or more creator accounts as a business on behalf of an agency. The manager plans content with the creator, sets subscription and PPV pricing, decides where promotion happens, and leads the chatters, editors and marketers who work on the account. The creator talks to the manager about results, so the role combines planning, people management and reporting.
Typical responsibilities:
- Build the monthly content plan and posting calendar with the creator.
- Set subscription prices, bundles, promotions and the PPV strategy.
- Brief, train and review the chatters on the account.
- Coordinate promotion on social platforms and track which sources bring subscribers.
- Report revenue, retention and next steps to the creator and the agency.

Skills and experience agencies ask for
- Results you can show. Accounts you grew and the numbers behind them, shared without revealing who the creators are.
- Platform knowledge. How OnlyFans, Fansly and Fanvue work, and what each social network allows for promotion.
- Team leadership. Scheduling, training and quality checks for chatters and editors.
- Numbers. Revenue per fan, conversion, renewal rate and where subscribers come from.
- Judgement. Knowing when a creator's boundaries or a platform rule outweigh a sales idea.

How OnlyFans managers are paid
Managers are usually paid a monthly salary, a percentage of the revenue of the accounts they run, or a combination of both. A percentage ties your income to the account's results and makes it less predictable. Ask whether the percentage is calculated on gross sales or on net revenue after the platform fee, refunds and chargebacks, how account numbers are shared with you, and what happens to your share if an account leaves the agency.
